Dental World Manila - SM North Edsa, Quezon City

SCAM ALERT. As other reviewers have noted in the reviews of other branches of Dental World, this clinic seems to use deception to overcharge foreign clients. In my case, the clinic attempted to charge me 2,900 PHP for a 2-minute "consultation", when the listed price for this service is 1,500 (I've since found out that the average price in Manila for the same service is 500). They explained the discrepancy by claiming that my consultation was not a "general dentistry" consultation, but a "TMJ consultation", even though this type of consultation and price are not listed anywhere on their website. After they backed down and admitted that they made a mistake, they proceeded to charge me 1,800 PHP for an X-Ray. When I got home and checked the website, this service was listed at 1,200 PHP. By then, it was too late to get my money back. Please avoid this place! Even if it did not use deception to overcharge clients, the head dentist seems clueless about basic dentistry concepts like subluxation. It is hard to verify whether he is even a certified dentist by international (not Philippine) standards.
