Very disappointed with how slow the service is. I had to wait around 4–5 hours just to get the results of a simple laboratory test. The staff seemed unconcerned about how long patients had been waiting. I understand that hospitals can get busy, but this kind of delay shows poor system management. I hope they improve their process soon — patients deserve faster and more efficient service.

Hi to Admin of this page and to Everyone, and who's gonna watch this comment and awareness at the same time this is my first time to visit RMC or should we say, Rizal Medical Center It's my first time to visit RMC my first time experience was the staff the SG was nice and he answered my queries and to the staff (Sir) employee of RMC who assist where I need to ask regarding of my concern thank you for quick instructions and accommodating me, and to the 2nd SG I encounter who's assign the entrance of the 2nd main door of hospital for giving me an advice to go early tomorrow instructed that Sir, pumunta po kayo ng madaling araw which means the following day then after he instructed me I go inside to laboratory section just to inquire the price and the availability of the test Im seeking for after that following next day, 2nd day of my visit in the hospital was I did what SG instructed me but I defeat the time he was instructed me instead 4am I got to hospital before 4am which 3am I was in the hospital with the rides I book that was effort from money and time that I invested just to get what I needed from hospital then that the operation/ service start at 6am then fast-forward we got inside the entrance just t to make green card and record then after I registered my profile then we proceed to the designated doctors section where we supposed to consult after the long hours of waiting to call my name for consultation the doctor ask me if the lab test that I would undergo is available and I said yes according to the staff that I ask a day before the consultation, after the consultation then I proceed to the laboratory when I reach to laboratory for pricing then here is the thing that made me even more frustrate and get stress the staff who I ask that time he said Sir the test that you're requesting is not available. I ask what's not available, and then another response from I said, 'I follow the line since 3am early in the morning, and then you would say it's not available. How come this test is not available? Before I got here yesterday, this concern was already raised, and it was available, but now you are going to say it's not available.' Then the staff answered me, 'Sir, try nlang po natin sa clinic jan po sa labas.' Me: (frustrated) Like, huh? San po labas? Then he didn't answer anymore. Then another I said, "Ms, that's why I'm here in the RMC, just to experience the zero balance and para narin maka tipid." Then you would suggest me outside and mahal ng test nyun. Then I asked again if/paano ko malaman if kailan ulet magkaka available or my number po ba kayo na active, then the staff told me, 'Wala po kameng contact number sir, pero may number ho kame sa pages.' Then I told her, 'Ms, the number you are referring to me is unresponsive, so pano ko malaman? ' Sana man lang may transparency po tayo. Hindi naman siguro reservation or appointment ung public laboratory sa hospital. To sum up, the total hours I spent waiting in the hospital is almost 11 hours without eating. Sana mapansin itong mensahe na ito. Thank you.

I arrived well before my scheduled time, and although there were only about six other patients present, I understood that early arrivals wouldn’t be entertained, so I waited patiently until 7:00 AM to proceed to the OB ultrasound. However, I wasn’t called in until 11:20 AM—a waiting time of over four hours, which was extremely difficult given that I am heavily pregnant and already in pain. Once inside, I was asked to lie on a bed so thin I could feel the hard frame beneath it. My back has been hurting severely due to my pregnancy, and lying still on that bed for an extended period made the pain almost unbearable. I did my best not to move, knowing the procedure would take time, but I was in agony. What made things worse was the attitude of the doctors attending to me. While I was trying to manage my pain quietly, one of them rudely asked, “Ano ba problema? Ba’t imik ka nang imik?” I was in excruciating pain and trying to express it, not cause trouble. To make matters more frustrating, the doctors were distracted during the procedure—discussing food orders while conducting the ultrasound. This not only prolonged the procedure but made it feel like my comfort and health were not a priority. At one point, I tried to shift slightly to relieve the pain, and another doctor snapped, “Kung galaw ka ng galaw, hindi tayo matatapos.” I politely apologized and asked if I could move a little due to the pain. Though they allowed it, the condescending tone remained. My baby was also active during the scan, and I could see visible eye-rolling from the staff every time she moved, as if my baby’s natural movements were an inconvenience. Eventually, without completing the procedure, they asked me to get up and take a walk, saying they would call me again later. May I also mention that they required us to bring some things to be used during the ultrasound such as: 3 condoms, 6 packs of lubricating jelly, 1 tissue roll, 2 pairs of gloves, and 1 underpad, in which none of it was used. Not even the tissue paper so I can wipe myself off. This experience was disheartening and unprofessional. As a patient—especially one who is pregnant and in pain—I expected at least some level of empathy, understanding, and respect. Unfortunately, what I received was far from it.
