MediCard Alabang Clinic

I was scared to get my APE here because of the bad reviews here. I went on a Tuesday 8am and the staff were polite and professional. I was done with most tests by 9:30am. The only delay was with the doctor’s consultation. The doctor encoded all the info and findings herself and was very meticulous with her questions. We had to go through my family’s history of diseases. I like it because she was very thorough but it took a long time, around 15-20 minutes per patient. I was done by 11am. A fellow patient who takes his APE here every year said it wasn’t usually this long. Maybe they could hire a nurse or secretary to encode the doctor’s findings to save time.

Getting 1 result took almost half hour and I even had to follow up before the clerk printed it. I don't know how multi- tasked they are as I saw that person going in and out of her room before she printed it. She wasn't even attending to other clients. The lay out of the clinic is very confusing. There is a long way with many turns leading to the laboratory. You need to really focus on the arrow stickers on the walls so as not to get lost. Compared to the many other clinics in this mall, this one is inferior to the others in terms of price and service.

Most nurses here are rude and unfriendly. I recently had a PEME here and was deeply disappointed with the nurses’ behavior. Additionally, the front desk staff appears irritated when people ask questions or seek information, as if it’s not their responsibility to provide assistance.
