Doctors are excellent and compassionate. But admitting staffs were inconsiderate and incompetent in some level. My wife had an unplanned admission last week. The hospital was full to the point that no room was available. My wife and her sister were dressed typical, Not even wearing a single ornament, you will not make a mistake that they are from the unprevilege group, But the admitting staff took them to a PHP10,300 per day suite? And please don't give the reason that you had consent, you didn't even tell the companion how expensive the room was. The result? PHP 30,000 of the PHP 80,000 hospital bill went to the room. Which could have been maximized for my wife's cancer treatments.

Doctors are always hours late. Never in time. Zero emphaty to their patients. I don’t know if this is the trend here in the province but I never experienced this in private hospitals in manila because they advise their patients through their secretaries when they will be late for hours. Today doctor’s appointment here was supposed to be 4pm. His secretary messaged me earlier that he moved it to 2:30pm. Arrived 2pm and waited for 4pm to pass and no doctor in sight and no advice whatsoever. You just have to wait for hours until they decide to show up.

Hospitals are supposed to heal, not stress you out. Unacceptable service and zero empathy Didn’t know ‘waiting forever’ was part of the treatment plan.
