Larrazabal Eye

I had a SmilePro prodecure at Larrazabal Eye clinic Cebu 04/09/2025 It was quick and painless procedure. A countdown of 9 sec all it takes and you are done. Instructions were clear on what to do for the benefit of patient's safety. Staff are accomodating, have long patience and answers question promptly and to the best of their knowledge. Despite this, I would like to highlight things that needs improvement. Facilites: excellent machines and equipments , clean environment , no smell TOILETS though needs at least toilet paper or hand dryer for sanitary purposes. Time management: I think procedure day should be only intended for procedure day. If there are at least still patients needs to be screen, then at least separate their time schedule from patients who are going to have the procedure on the day. This is to decrease waiting time of patients and for the procedure to be on scheduled time given to the patients. For this, in relation to my experience, I have been scheduled around 10 ish, Yet, I had the procedure around 16:00 give and take., which around 6 hours of delay. Over all: This is a life changing experience. The hassle of having eyeglasses is gone. I AM very thankful. Thank you to the doctors and to the staff who where there. I had Lasik eye surgery in 2008. The staff were extremely professional. The procedure was also a very worthwhile experience. The attitude of staff, quality of equipment and the professionalism of the doctor who performed the procedure are equal to any high-end clinic anywhere in the West. EDIT 2018: I have since tried several times to contact the clinic by email and none have ever been replied to - so although my initial experience was positive - I have had to edit my star rating due to the lack of follow up or response. Also keep in mind that the op is not permanent - it is only good for 5-7 years and may not be able to be performed again - meaning that eventually you will need glasses.

Very disappointed with the queuing system. Patients are made to wait for extremely long hours (over 12 hours in the case of our patient) in a cramped area, with many forced to stand. If you step out, you risk being skipped when your name is called. This is especially hard on senior citizens. Limited seating, an inefficient process, and some unfriendly staff made the experience unnecessarily stressful. For a clinic that charges premium fees, patient comfort and dignity should be a priority. I hope management seriously improves this system.
