Completely satisfied with the service at JAPS Clinica Optica. Dr Joel was quite thorough in examining my eyes. He also explained everything in layman's terms. Ma'am Sue helped us choose the frames most flattering for our faces. Do not expect a quickie eye exam. So happy to have found this optical shop. NOTE that they're moving to 629 Rizal Avenue (Avenida), Sta. Cruz by October 2025. If I'm not mistaken, it could be the site of the old Rex Bookstore. Their office hours are from 11AM to 7PM daily.

Most detailed eye evaluation I got in my life. Very thorough explanation and walang pressure on options and not hard selling items. Super laki natipid ko (at least 50% off) sa progressive lenses ko pati frames versus yung suki ko na mall eye clinics. Doc Japs is highly recommended.

Minimal to none downtime or adjustment period 🤍 To be fair, my eye grade was just the same as my previous pero I bought a different frame and different kind of lenses, so may adjustment pa rin. Cheaper but at par, or dare i say ABOVE face value even, compared to popular, overhyped, ☀️overly advertised☀️ mall optical shops (if you know, you know) 🫶🏻💰 Very welcoming and friendly si Ma’am who assisted me, from frame selection, patient education, and eyewear installation. Thank you po! 💝 Place was clean and decent. Kayang kaya puntahan ng mga commuters. Nagulat lang ako na I had to walk to another shop for an eye check up. Turns out ganto ginagawa nila pag di on duty si Sir Japs, yung optometrist nila. I chose a Titanium frame kasi lightweight siya 💕 For the lenses, Essilor yung pinili ko because my anti-rad and transition lenses na siya. Got it for 3k!! Super duper worth it ✋ Essilor lenses is a well-known brand ng lenses because of its high quality… kaya kudos talaga sa Japs Clinica because they have this kind of lenses. They give out its certificate of authenticity card as well Warranty: I think 3 months, if di okay ang lenses sayo. Just keep the receipt This optical shop was recommended to me by a friend and it did not disappoint! Sayang lang na I wasnt able to see Sir Japs himself when i visited.
