I was referred here by one of my doctors, as I asked where I can get affordable tests since i don't have HMO. Before I went here I canvassed almost every known hospital and clinic near me for prices of my needed tests, and hi-precision has the most budgetwise price range. As in. Went first time on a Tuesday afternoon on the first week of November, (walk-in) I was expecting a high volume of patients or line/queue, but to my surprise, when I walked in the door, my number and name was called not more than 10 mins at the cashier. Since i wasn't able to fast, as my test was required to fast first, I just paid and scheduled my test the following day in the morning. (But if at that time i have already fasted, I might have completed the test on that same day) Went back the following morning, having an advanced payment on my test, as instructed, I walked straight to the extraction area but since my extract time is an hour pa, i was asked to wait for my sched. I patiently waited (doom scroll time). On this morning, there were a lot of other patients waiting too. They prioritized the elderly and pwds (as they should) then posted the number queue on the screen. I got an extraction around 20 mins behind my schedule, and it was understandable. (nasabayan ko kasi karamihan ng seniors 😝) You can approach a staff if you have any concerns on your schedule, no need to be obnoxious. The extraction area was bright and clean (unlike other clinics were it seems like their extraction areas seems like an afterthought added last minute in a dark corner where the chair looks like a death penalty chair 🫣). They were gentle with the extraction too. All staff were accommodating, prompt and polite. They handled it like a pro even if there were demanding and rude patients (dont act privileged guys and demand to be prioritized, you just make yourself look bad. If you're late, even how early you fasted the night before, you're still LATE. I was observing, while waiting 😊) The waiting area and the counters looks clean. Plenty of seats and the area was okay temperature-wise. Natural light from the window glass was an okay-bright. Comfy enough to doom scroll while waiting. Oh, and the upside is you can check the results online too. May elevator para FYI for seniors and pwd. I dont have any images of the inside, they have a NO PHOTOGRAPHY sign.
Arrived at around 6:30am and the place is already packed with patients. Was able to secure my HMO LOA the night before so I expect that I'll finish in a breeze, but lo and behold, out of 6 working counters in the reception/encoding area, 4 are for senior/PWD. 1 is for HMO approval (who is constantly on the phone) and only 1 for regular patients. It took 30mins before another regular patient is called. It was not yet my turn but it's almost 10hrs after my last meal. My doctor instructed only 8 to 10hrs fasting. So I stood up and asked. They accommodated my request to have my blood drawn first before encoding but told me to wait until they (extraction) call my name. 20mins passed, they didn't call my name. I am now 2mins overfast. I approached them again and they checked my record. The audacity to tell me "Hala ma'am 5mins na po kayong overfast. Itutuloy pa po ba namin or balik na lang po kayo?" LIKE ARE YOU SERIOUS?! Fault niyo na nag overfast ako and then pin it on me. So I demanded them to draw my blood right there and then. They obliged naman but it was super stressful. To think that my test is related to hormones and can be affected by stress, tapos ganitong stress ang ibibigay sayo. After they draw my blood, they encoded my info. It was only then my number was called in the reception/encoding. The delay is SOOOO UNREASONABLE! I understand many patients are seniors and PWDs and I have nothing against them. But they should also understand that they have regular patients who also have fasting requirements. Para saan pa yung tinatanong ng queueing kung balewala rin pala. They should balance their counters designated for seniors/PWDs and regular patients to avoid something like this.
Worst and most depressing way to start 2026. We lined up for our ultrasound since the day before and were told to come at 6am because it’s “first come, first serve.” We were literally the first ones at the imaging area, no one else around, so of course we expected to be accommodated early, or at least after seniors. Only then were we told that ultrasounds don’t even start until 8am. No one mentioned that beforehand. Fine, we waited. Past 8am, still nothing. No tech, no doctor, nobody calling patients. When the doctor finally showed up, he looked like he just woke up and came straight from the shower. That “first come, first serve” rule meant absolutely nothing. Despite being there first, with our papers already queued since the day before, we were served LAST at around 10:30am. And right after we finished, they literally turned off the lights in the ultrasound rooms, meaning they stopped doing ultrasounds for the day. So what was the point of coming in super early and lining up ahead of time? Our time was completely wasted, while people who arrived much later were called in before us! It’s been a couple of days already but the experience has caused me stress and depression until now!
