“Unfortunately, my experience at Happy Teeth did not live up to its name. They do not charge cleaning and dental fillings to HMO in this clinic. Cleaning is only covered on the second visit, and you need to pay 2,500 out of pocket for the first cleaning session. The only thing that was charged to my HMO was the consultation fee. They charge 1,500 per surface for fillings, even though my HMO dental policy states that fillings should be charged per tooth, not per surface. They informed me that my dental caries were too deep to be covered. However, after confirming with my HMO, I was advised that there is no provision in my dental policy that excludes coverage based on the severity of the tooth condition to be eligible for permanent fillings. I’ve had cleaning and fillings done at another clinic before and they charged it to my HMO, so I’m unsure why this clinic handles it differently. I also noticed other reviewers sharing similar experiences, which makes me wonder if anyone has actually been able to use their HMO here. They also charge an infection fee, P200 if consultation only, and P500 if you proceed with the procedures. I asked if they accept card and QR payments and they said yes, but they charge an extra fee if you pay by credit card. This is against the law under DTI rules. Due to the cost, I decided not to proceed, so I can’t comment on the quality of their dental work. The staff were friendly and explained my case well. However, the dentist mentioned that their equipment is made in the USA and not in China. Personally, this comment felt unnecessary and left a bad taste in my mouth, this influenced my decision not to continue. You can decide if this clinic is right for you.”
“Avoid!!! They won't even use your HMO, my final bill was over 3k (Dental cleaning+ fluoride paste, which was 1k na libre naman sa ibang dental clinic) para akong naholdap hahaha, I was able to find a new clinic which fully utilized my HMO benefits”

They have asked if we have dental braces and we said Yes , we just have know when we arrived there as that per their policy they won’t touch or can do any procedure if you have dental braces that they never mentioned on the chat waste of time money and transportation fare . They are not even on time scheduled . Very unprofessional.
