My 72 year old mom came in unable to speak, control her movements, or even eat, drink, or walk on her own because of her brain tumor. It was one of the hardest times for our family. Dr. Kenny Seng was a man of few words but he was honest, calm, and never one to sugarcoat. He told us there was a real risk my mom could lose vision in one eye because of the tumor’s location. But through his extraordinary skill and precision, he managed to maneuver around the complication and saved her vision. Right after the operation, my mom could speak and move again! It was something we hadn’t dared hope for so soon, but through God's grace and Dr. Seng's expert hands, my mom was able to. And as another blessing, the biopsy confirmed that the tumor is benign (one should never really lose hope). "My spouse Julie Anne has Cerebral Brain Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM). Their AVM first ruptured in 2017. The second rupture happened two years later, in December 2019. Our Neurologist referred us to Dr. Seng, and we had our first check-up with him in 2020. Our youngest son, Ezekiel Jezreel D. Muñoz, was born on March 3, 2002. He had early speech delays, so we enrolled him in SPED Care Cabanatuan for developmental support, where he was later diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD). In 2014, he collapsed for the second time, prompting us to bring him to his pedia doctor for further evaluation. After reviewing his MRI by Dr. Agrava, which confirmed that he had a brain tumor and recommended/referred us to see Dr. Kenny Seng, neurosurgeon. Our heartfelt appreciation goes to Dr. Kenny Seng for the outstanding care and expertise shown throughout our son’s three neurosurgeries in 2014 and 2016. Dr. Seng skillfully removed the astrocytoma brain tumor having a regrowth near the brain stem and performed the VP shunt installation with excellence.
