Dr. Emily Lao Dental Clinic (Pooc branch)

If you are looking for a dentist in Talisay City, Cebu, we highly recommend Doc Emily. She is really wonderful and very patient. She also works well with kids. We also love that her clinic is new, and very clean. It is actually inside a subdivision which is away from crowds. Kid-friendly, budget-friendly and expert dentist.

It is close if you live in the subdivision.I went there originally because I had a bad tooth,and I did get a prescription for it.When I returned to have it extracted I was told she couldn't do it,and tried to refer me to dentists far from here to do it.While I was there,after finding out it could not be extracted,she did a filling on another tooth,and that filling came out 3 weeks later.There is no dental assistant to help with suction or instruments,and you have to go elsewhere for an x-ray.Also the fees are higher than other dental clinics in the area.I did end up getting the bad tooth removed by an excellent dentist only 50 yards from the guardhouse,so at least that went well for that,and future dental work.I did have a one tooth partial from Dr Lao also,but it is in very tight.When I contacted her about this,3 days later,after leaving messages and calling,she called and told me she can't take it out and put it back in for me all the time.The thing is that I never even asked for that.I just asked if there was an easier way to get it in and out,and that was it.I was really surprised with the attitude,especially after her telling me to call with any problems.Either way I chalk it up as a lesson learned.This is an honest review,and I really do wish it was a better one,but I call it like I see it.
