In my experience Dr. Espina was patient in answering and explaining to all my questions and gave remedy to my ear problem. She was very gentle in handling the procedure. The consultation fee was just right and affordable.

I wish I could have written all the previous reviews before coming here. Well, based on my experience I can not say that much about her kindness since what truly gave me discomfort is either her assistant or her informing me ahead of time of the video otoscopy fee. When I first arrived, I asked the assistant how much is the procedure for an ear wax removal, dshe mentioned between 800-1200 if I am not mistaken but told me to have a consultation first so I asked the price and it's 800. Price is already kind of expensive because I know others start at 500. Well, I sat and waited to be called. Once I was with the dr. Camille she asked about what I was having so I explained I felt like buzzing sounds and I read that could be related to tinnitus and ear wax blockage so I would like to have it checked and or confirmed with her. She told me "ok, let's check your ears. Sit over here and she said that would insert a device inside my ears" and I said ok. This process took no more than 2-3min. Then she told me to take a picture of what I was seeing in the screen. After done with the picture, she explained that to be careful when cleaning as there is small injury. I asked about the little yellowish thing I was seeing and she said that's ear wax but very small so no need for a cleaning since it's natural to have a little of it in the ears. Now after checking back at the picture of patient record I realized that she couldn't actually respond to the answer of what could be causing me the buzzing sounds. She also didn't prescribe anything for it. After done with the consultation, I wanted to pay her and she said to go with her admin and she indicated the admin that used the device so the admin assistant prepared the invoice without any further explanation or word and gave it to me. I read and the total was 1300: 800 for consultation and 500 for video otoscopy. I claimed her no one didn't tell me about that extra fee so I only paid and left. If you visit this clinic, be prepared to pay some extra and or make sure you ask if there is any additional or hidden fee aside from the consultation. And dr. Camille or assistant if you read this please make sure you inform the patients ahead of time, because it is easy to charge but how about if the patient doesn't have that cash or it's outside of their budget? If I knew I wound up paying 1300 I probably would have chosen a different clinic or I would have accepted the extra pay only if informed at the beginning but do not surprise your patients like that only after the consultation is done because we are required to pay

I've been to her clinic twice now. The first time, I was experiencing discomfort in my ear. However, she seemed skeptical, asking questions like "are you sure?" and "does it really hurt?" in a suspicious tone. Her demeanor felt rushed, and she didn't seem very accommodating. I thought maybe she's just having a bad day or maybe she was on her period. On my second visit, I had throat discomfort, but her attitude remained unchanged. I began to realize it wasn't just me when I read reviews confirming her lack of bedside manner. My appointment barely lasted 10 minutes, and she didn't even explain my diagnosis; I had to ask. She diagnosed me with Acute Pharyngitis and prescribed medication. I hope it helps, but one thing's certain: I won't be visiting her clinic again.
