Cutz and Dogs Pet Station - Santo Tomas Batangas

(First two photos taken upon pickup, third photo taken at home) In the absence of our usual groomer, we came upon Cutz and Dogs. I gave them a list of the specific cut I wanted for each body part. Since the receptionist had some questions for clarity about my list, I assumed everything would be followed and I could leave my dog in their care. However, this was not the case. For example, I asked them to shave only the underside of the paws. As seen on this photo, they completely shaved the entirety of my dog’s feet. My dog’s eyes were also red when they returned him to me. Additionally, I asked them to trim his body to get rid of the uneven hair. As seen on the third photo, they did not. It seems like they only fluffed his hair out, cut a bit of his face and paws, and called it a day. On the bright side, apart from the red eyes and a small nick on the back of his front left paw, my dog did not acquire any other cuts or injuries while in their care. Though the salon is clean and looks well-maintained inside, the building itself and the area they are in is quite dusty. I would recommend carrying your dog to and from the salon. Overall, it seems that the staff has a grasp of what generally looks good on a dog so they ignore instructions. If you’re someone who likes your dog’s hair to be cut a certain way, I would recommend staying in the salon to monitor the groomer.
