Patient Reviews
Staff are great as well as the Doctors. They take time to build a relationship with your pets so their visits are less scary for them. The vets are also patient and great at explaining what your pet needs, giving you all possible options for your beloved pet.
I'd like to show my concern. They claim to be open until 5PM but will charge you 500 pesos if you walk in after 4:30PM. Even if it is for regular check up, they'll say it's considered as "emergency" and they have to charge you extra for it. It should be obviously visible on their page. We even called to set an appointment, but they told us na "mag walk in lang po" so we did! They also charged us 300 pesos for ear cleaning, and they were not even able to complete it, saying the pet was aggressive. They should not charge at all! Aside from that, they caused a poknat on my cat's back because of poor handling. It was near the area they put the advocate. We did not notice it until we got home. 2,2k just for a regular check up is too much. They also claimed my cat do not have earmites, but they advised to use an ear drop medicine. We have Aurizon, and they said we can use this even with no earmites, inflamation, and fungal infection. Isn't this a steriod? ( correct me if I'm wrong) They even tried to sell us one even though we told them we have one at home. Maybe the experience is just not good. It's also the first time my cat reacted this bad towards a vet clinic. He never hissed and behaved at the prior vet clinic. Too bad we had to change vet clinic because of the location. Ps. They did not give us a pet card.
Pros: Staffs and doctors are very friendly and accommodating. Doctors also explain the processes very well. Cons (reason for 2 stars): I notice that they have the same entrance for sick pets and just for cosultations/wellness. It is not safe for the furbabies to wonder around the vet clinic or to even sit on the bench, esp if they don't have complete vaccinations. It was our first time for their grooming service. I ask the groomer if my furbaby can have e summer cut. He suggested to have a summer cut instead. I'm not sure why, I don't see tangles on my furbaby's fur for a summer cut. They ask me to sign a waiber for grooming agreement. Im not sure what it was, because I didn't read what's on the paper thoroughly. The staff just inform me that they need my signature for the grooming service agreement. Since it was lunch time, I need to leave my furbaby with them. When we came back that's when the grooming started. We are not able to see the whole process because the grooming room is at the back of the vet clinic. When my furbaby came back, may furbbay immediately rush to hug me. I thought he was just stressed out after the grooming session. When I check the eyes, it has reddish parts. I asked the doc if that is normal and they confirmed that it was due to stress (My furbaby did not experience this when I bring him to PetBuddy, although its a little bit pricey, you can see your furbaby while they groom it). When we got home. I check the ears and it has a small wound near the right ear and blood stains on the earlobe. I'm not sure if it's normal since I saw online that it should not blead because the powder that the groomers used has a chemical to stop the bleeding. My guest was it was pulled without that hair remover. Also, on the part of his belly, there is a small red spot. I am sure that it is not there before my furbaby went to the groomer. That will the first and last visit for their grooming service. Might as well find another grooming service where you can see the groomer and your furbabies. Ps. The fur is toooo short on the ears part. That is not a summer cut. Kulang na lang pati tenga gupitin.
