“We’re having trouble figuring out what kind of doctor should we get because my dad has been having knee pain for several years and we’ve done some treatments that directly tried to solve the issue without having X-rays done. I saw on one of the Facebook groups (shoutout to Best of the Best Manila) that a user’s mom went here and had a good experience. What I liked about the experience was: 1. They asked to bring current X-rays or MRI scans but if you don’t have, you can avail of their skeletal scan. The skeletal scan was helpful because it directly provided us info on what the pressing issue was w/ my dad’s pain. 2. Clear treatment plan. The doctor gave us a treatment plan that would help my dad’s knee pain and spinal issue. No second guessing because the skeletal scan is viewed directly on a big TV and you can see EVERYTHING. 3. Ngl, treatment plan was expensive BUT my senior dad had 20% off. Also, the treatment plan was explained well so he had clear expectations of what to and what not to do after the sessions. 4. Complimentary coffee and pastry to first time patients and if you’re a QC based Sr. Citizen, parking is free for certain number of hours. 5. The clinic is elegant, good air ventilation and nice view overlooking Philam Homes. I wish I had brought my dad here earlier but I’m happy we are here now.”
“To Sir Abdurahman Ateeq, We sincerely apologize for not meeting your expectations during your recent visit to CMS-Asia. We would like to take this opportunity to clarify the reasons behind our assessment and recommendations. The skeletal scan revealed that you have mild scoliosis. Given this diagnosis, it was unnecessary for us to perform further examinations, such as using a stethoscope or taking vital signs, as the spinal deformity was already evident. Your X-ray findings indicate that the majority of your spinal pain is attributed to spinal deformity and a leg length discrepancy. We recommend the use of orthotics, such as insoles, along with physical therapy to help improve your alignment. It is possible that other doctors you have seen may not have conducted weight-bearing skeletal X-rays, which could explain why they did not identify the discrepancy. We want to clarify that we do not refuse to see patients; however, appointments are necessary due to high demand and patient queues. Our physician was not irritated; he was simply explaining the implications of your X-ray results regarding the leg length discrepancy. While we understand your concerns about the accuracy of the X-ray, our diagnosis and treatment plan are based on established medical facts rather than personal beliefs. Please note that using insoles and undergoing physical therapy for just two weeks may not yield immediate results, especially given the congenital nature of your condition and the fact that you have been experiencing these issues for 15 years. Once again, we apologize for your dissatisfaction, and we appreciate your understanding. We are committed to providing you with the best care possible during your next visit. Thank you for your patience. Sincerely, CMS-Asia Management Kimberly Jane Leal CMS ASIA ADMINISTRATOR”
