Cebu Doctors’ University Hospital

I am giving 3 stars because the medical team did help me recover quickly, and I started feeling better within two days. There are undoubtedly skilled doctors here. However, my overall experience was marred by a specific issue. One doctor repeatedly insisted on a treatment that I felt was not suitable for me. Being a foreigner, I requested an alternative therapy that I am familiar with. The doctor claimed he was unsure if such a treatment existed in the Philippines, or even stated that it was unavailable. I found this very disappointing. Upon checking personally at a local pharmacy, I discovered that the alternative medication was indeed available. This led me to feel that I was being pushed toward a more expensive treatment rather than the one best suited to my needs and request. It is concerning when a professional does not verify the availability of medications or seems to take advantage of a patient’s vulnerability. I appreciate the medical help I received, but I hope the management addresses this lack of transparency and information.

First of all, it's unacceptable that the toilets in this private hospital were so disgusting; I didn't even want to touch the tap. There wasn't even soap in the toilets!!! And I paid a really high price for a simple IV drip and blood test. It's a ridiculous place; I hope I never have to go there again.

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. My aunt wanted to process her insurance. First off, the staff was rude and treated my aunt as if she wanted to scam them. She gave back my aunt's diagnosis and told us to wait. After an hour, we followed up and she said our names weren't listed in the waitlist. Huh?! Apparently she needed the paper that she gave back to us. Very unorganized and unprofessional. Will never be visiting again
