Borough Lasik Center - Manila

I had a smooth, seamless experience at BLC. First of all there were a lot of patients who were coming in for screenings, this was the part that took the longest. Personally, I don’t mind but for others, maybe manage your expectations, bring snacks and water. It takes a while because they take their time with every single patient and really once it is your turn, you will appreciate this!! There were several tests done to assess my suitability. In the end I had 2 options, both were explained so well, now I can literally explain them to other people so easily! Once I made my choice which procedure to take, I paid, and was prepped. The process was once again explained to me and the doctor answered all questions. I had Z lasik. The actual procedure was quick, maybe 3 min for each eye. Minor discomfort with the apparatus they have to put on the eyes but the actual laser process was totally painless. Afterwards, my eyes stung for a bit, which can be expected considering the procedure that was performed. I was on my own so this was problematic, as I struggled to keep my eyes open to even book my grab ride (obviously this was my fault lol). Definitely bring a companion if you are doing the procedure so you can keep your eyes closed and minimize the stinging pain. Also highly recommend to bring sunglasses, although the BLC staff were so kind to give me both clear and tinted goggles! When I got home, I applied the drops and hit the bed since it was pointless to try and move around. When I woke up, my eyes were A LOT better. No more pain and I could actually keep my eyes open. Had my check up the day after, everything was great, the flap didn’t budge. Nakapag shopping na agad 🤣😅😂🤣😅😂 And yes, it’s a whole bright new world minus the eyeglasses. Thanks, BLC TEAM. 🥰😘

This review has been long overdue, I had my CLEAR procedure done last December 2024 by Doc Ches Heredia and it was one of the best decisions I made. It was indeed life changing and an absolute dream come true to be glasses free after 17 years. Process: I went to the clinic around 7am and was the second patient for that day. The initial tests ran from about 8 to 9:30am, and by 11am I was already having the procedure—which only took about 5–6 minutes per eye. By 12 noon, I was already home! Every single staff member I met was kind, accommodating, and genuinely helpful. From the very first screening all the way to my follow-up checkups, they made the whole experience so easy and reassuring. They even went the extra mile to adjust for me since I was only in the Ph for a short holiday. I honestly couldn’t be more grateful to everyone at Borough Lasik Center MOA Branch! ❤️

I am very happy about the results after the lasik surgery (18 August 2025). Within 24hrs, I had 20/15 vision. All the doctors, nurses, and staff were friendly. I recommend them A LOT. Special thanks to my surgeon, Doc Ches! 🎊🎊🎉🎉🥂 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
