Aventus Medical Care Inc. - One Ayala

I had my APE today with no expectations because of the reviews I’d read beforehand. I’m not sure if they took the criticisms to heart, if it was the Christmas spirit, or simply lighter foot traffic than usual—but the entire process only took about 1.5 hours. I arrived at 7:30 AM and was pleasantly surprised. The security guard was accommodating, and the nurses at the front desk were warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Everyone I interacted with was smiling and helpful, which made the experience much less stressful than I anticipated. Was done before I knew it. Overall, my experience was efficient and positive, and it definitely exceeded my expectations.

Booked a 9:00am appointment because that’s the earliest available timeslot when I booked online (Nov29). I arrived at 8:30am because I wanted to be early and they advise their patients to arrive 15mins before scheduled time anyway. By the time I arrived, my number was 47. And when I asked, they are just serving #20. I informed them I fasted for blood extraction so they took my blood samples ahead to avoid overfasting. After that, everything was just SLOW. Not exaggerating, super slow. The receptionist, nurses at the vitals section and the other nurses/staff from lab/xray/ecg were friendly. I don’t know who to blame but the system is just terrible. My APE took 4hrs! And it could have been longer had I not complained. By 10am, I am already hungry because of the fasting. The last number called was 33, so I decided to grab something to eat quickly. When I returned, queue is at #42. By 10:45am, my number was finally called and I proceeded to step1. Even if I just count from my appointment time instead of when I arrived, that is still almost 2hrs of waiting and just for step1! If it weren’t for the required fasting, I would have not been done already as well with laboratory. By 11am, I waited for the physical exam. There were 3 doctors (2 male, 1 female). Then at 11am 1 doctor took a break. The other male doctor was the only one efficient imo. By 12:30pm, I was shocked when the female doctor I was queued at was leaving the consultation room. Apparently it’s her lunchbreak. Don’t get me wrong. We are all entitled to a lunchbreak. But they could have informed me/us waiting. And I wouldn’t even know had I not asked. My time has already been wasted. So I approached one of the staff if my consult can be transferred to the available male doctor. Pwde naman pala, sana they offered sa umpisa pa lang. That’s another 1.5hrs waiting time. I was like, okay magbe-break kayo, what about us? At least inform us about it. Kasi that time, sayang walang pila sa Xray and ECG eh. And we can’t proceed to those until we’ve completed physical exam. The only silver lining was, the doctor was (sorry forgot his name) friendly and had positive vibes which lessened my anger and calmed me down a bit. But it won’t change my bad experience. Please improve your system! 4hrs is too long for an APE. Been doing it my whole employed years and this is the first time it took this LONG!

The establishment is clean but the service is so bad. 1st, waiting time is too long for a check-up. You have to allot 3 hours just for waiting but the checkup would only take 10 minutes or less. Would not recommend this clinic.
